The DLD is a double board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse practitioner and former atheist diagnosed with Bipolar I Disorder. She suffered psychotic breaks in 2010 and 2023, both leading to almost a court commission in two different states. Her prognosis was deemed fair to poor. From being hospitalized in 2010, then returning as a co-worker at that hospital, to obtaining two master's degrees and pursuing a doctorate, she tells the story of how she shared a hospital room with her patient and met God during her second involuntary hospitalization in 2023. She tells the raw, gripping, and ugly truth about living her double life as a patient and provider. She hopes to inspire others to be the best version of themselves. If she speaks, others will speak, and so forth, and maybe one day, together, we can change the world.
